シンガポール語学研修　まとめ

現地からお送りさせていただいたシンガポール語学研修の記事を一つにまとめてご報告させていただきます。

2017年12月24日（日）

現地時間17時、日本時間18時に無事シンガポールに到着しました。

年末ということもあり、空港は非常に混雑していたのですが、およそ一時間半後に入国審査を通過し、スーツケースも無事全員受け取ることができました。

その後バスで夕食会場に移動し、steamboat（鍋）を堪能した後、20時半ごろに宿泊先のRamada Singapore at Zhongshan parkに到着しました。

明日は9時半から現地大学生とのフィールドワーク、そしてホームステイ初日となります。

以下は参加生徒による日記です。

Today, December 24th, we finally left Japan for Singapore.  We gathered at Kansai airport at 8:00, but the time when we took the place was 11:00, so we enjoyed shopping at the airport about for two hours,  After that, the plane took off and we all could reach Singapore without accident.  When I arrived at Singapore, I was surprised at little sunlight.  I thought that sunlight is always strong at Singapore, but it was not so.  I think this weather last as long as possible.  We ate hot pot at the restaurant at night.  The hot pot was filled with fish, beaf and meat.  It was very delicious!  So, we were full.  After the dinner, some of us went to the supermarket.  We bought drink, snacks and so on.

Our trip first day is mainly movement.  From tomorrow, we should enjoy this trip more.  （T）

2017年12月25日（月）

12月25日(月) 研修2日目となる今日はシンガポールではChristmas Holiday、祝日です。生徒たちは現地の大学生とともに朝から夕方までシンガポールの各所を散策し、課題である街頭100人インタビューに挑みました。その後、夕方５時半にホテルに再集合し、今日から３日間お世話になるホストファミリーとの対面式を経て、各家庭へと出立しました。

 

以下、参加生徒による日記です。

 

Today, we went to many places with B&S members and university students.

First we went to Merlion.  We took many pictures with a pose to drink water from the Merlion or lift Marina Bay Sands.

The scenery was very beautiful.

Second, we went to Gardens by the Bay.  It was very rich in nature and plants are growing beautiful here.  I was excited as if I was in another world.

Finally, we went to Orchard.  We watched many shops and interviewed 100 people.  There were the big Christmas tree and illuminations and they were very beautiful.  100 people  interview was nervous to call out to foreign people, but I got used to it as we interviewed.  It was a lot of fun to communicate the words with people from other countries.

Today, it was very nice because I enjoyed sightseeing in Singapore.  I would like to be a fulfilling trip for the next three days.  (Y)

Thank you for coming to Singapore with your students.
I felt heartened to see the students work together to continuously approach strangers to conduct their surveys despite facing rejection sometimes.
I hope that as they grow up to be adults they will not lose this courage and teamwork.

2017年12月26日（火）

今日からいよいよ語学学校での研修が始まります。本年度はUnited World Collegeという大学の一画をお借りし、そちらに語学学校の先生方をお迎えしてご講義いただいております。講師の先生方にはこれまでの本校シンガポール語学研修でご指導いただいた先生が多数いらっしゃいます。本校では昨年度、71期生より４技能統合型の英語教育として英語授業をリファインしましたが、本年度の参加生徒はそのリファイン後の授業を普段受けていうる71期生及び72期生です。研修計画を作成する段において、講師の先生方にあらかじめこれまでのシンガポール語学研修以上に内容を実践的なものにしていただくよう、お願いしてあります。

以下は、生徒による今日の日記です。

Today, we went to the international school in Singapore.  I learned how to make a good advertisement, culture of China, Malay and India, and how to play the capteh and the 5 stones.  The capteh had colorful wings.  I thought it looks like the ball of badminton.  We played it by kicking up.  It was very fun.  After school, I was taken to the biggest shopping mall in Singapore.  I watched a lot of things.  There were a lot of people and funny and colorful monuments.  After that I ate laksa and lychee juice in food coat of the mall.  They were so good.  Lychee juice was only 2.2 S$.  I thought it was cheep.  Then, we went to the Retro India.  It seemed that we were in India.  I could see cultures of a lot of countries in Singapore.  I think it is one of the reasons for that a lot of tourists come to Singapore.  I was very happy to see and go to a lot of Singaporean places.  Everywhere was very beautiful.  And I could speak with host family more times than yesterday.  Today was a lot of fun.  (S)

2017年12月27日（水）

 

今日でシンガポール語学研修も4日目を迎えました。

街でとっさにだれかとぶつかった際に「すいません」ではなく”Oops,” や”Oh, sorry”というような英語が自然と出てきて自分でも驚いた、という生徒もおり、少しずつ英語圏での生活に慣れてきたことが伺えます。

今日も全日語学学校での研修ですが、始業前にホストファミリーとのお別れ会がありました。

以下は生徒による日記です。

 

Today was the last day of our home stay.

In the morning, after gathering at the language school, each of us said thanks to our host families, and goodbye to them.

Then, the second day at the school started. Each of groups learned English and practiced it harder for the presentation tomorrow. I practiced a song many times because our teem is going to singing presentation. I think all the lessons we had during this two days were very entertaining. I wonder if we can perform well, but I'll do my best.

After school, we went to a shopping mall near the sea, and enjoyed shopping in a supermarket. In this shop, We found some interesting things. For example, Coca-Cola with vanilla.

After that, we had dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Every dishes were so delicious, especially fried chicken gristle. Talking over round tables, everyone seemed to be enjoying himself the dinner.

Now, we are staying the hotel we stayed at the first day. It is very exciting for us to travel this town for training, but tomorrow is the last day. However, we will be able to learn a lot tomorrow because we have a presentation, so I'll try my best.  （T）

2017年12月28日（木）

シンガポールでの活動もいよいよ最終日を迎えました。

語学学校での活動の締めくくりとして、これまでの研修の成果を発表するプレゼンテーション大会が開かれました。

劇形式でシンガポールを紹介したグループや、THE BEATLESの”Let it be”を歌いながらシンガポールの思い出を発表したグループ、民族衣装をまとって発表したグループなどなど、各クラスごとに個性があふれる発表会となりました。

語学学校での研修全体を通じて、特に引率教員の目から見て印象的だったのは、語気や表情、態度に感情をこめるよう徹底して指導されていたことです。３日間の語学学校での研修で、文法力や語彙力についての成長は多少なりとは当然あったことと思いますが、そういった知識の部分だけでは決して得ることができない成長が、全てのクラスに見て取れました。1日目、2日目、最終日と、日を追うごとに積極性と自信を身につけていく様子はとても頼もしいものでした。

 

午後からはシンガポール動物園、ガーデンズバイザベイのスーパーツリーグローブを訪問し、マリーナベイサンズのフードコートにて各自自由に夕食をとった後、壮大な光と水のショー（SPECTRA）を見学した後、深夜１時半のフライトでチャンギ空港より出国しました。

 

約６時間の空路を経て、関西国際空港に無事到着、入国審査等を経て12月29日（金）午前１０時ごろに本年度のシンガポール語学研修本編を終了いたしました。

 

以下、生徒による日記です。

 

Hi! Today is 28 December 2017 and the end day of Singapore tour. In this morning, we went to the school and prepared for the presentation and got it. The presentation was very fun and each class has humor and creativity. And then we graduated the school!!

The time was over noon, and next we went to Singapore Zoo, which is one of the most famous places in Singapore. We ate lunch and walked around the zoo. It was very very hot, so I was getting tired. The zoo is rich in nature so we would think it very nice.

After leaving the zoo, we went to Gardens By the Bay and Marina Bay Sands, eating dinner. After dinner, we watched a show using a large amount of water. We everyone would feel that this show was very wonderful.

Finally, we arrived at Changi Airport and left for Osaka at 1 a.m.
